Shipping Information/Return Policy
Mountaineer Attachments direct ships farm equipment for small farms and large, anywhere in the USA. We can ship your machines and or parts wherever you need it. Give us a call, email and or fill out our Request for Quote form and we will work with you to make sure you receive the most efficient and best shipping available.
We provide each of our customers with a completely customized shipping quote based on your delivery location/needs.
**Mountaineer Attachments is not responsible for lost or damaged shipments.
*Machines and parts ship from Wilson, NC.
**Customers, it is your responsibility to check your order for damage and/or missing parts BEFORE you sign for your goods. Ground shipping and LTL truck shipping, boxed or wrapped, requires you to check for damage before signing for delivery. Please be aware that shipping companies WILL NOT pay for any damages and/or missing parts incurred during shipment when that damage is not noted AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY with the delivery driver.
***Please do not blame Mountaineer Attachments for carrier damage when your item(s) are not check upon arrival!
Customer Pick-up:
Customers may pick-up their machines if requested. If you decide to pick-up your machine(s) please read the following:
- Call to set up an Appointment
- Our warehouse team will carefully load the tiller crate on your trailer or pickup truck bed with a forklift
*North Carolina Residents and Local Pick-Up Customers:
- We must Charge 7% North Carolina Sales Tax on all pick up items.
- If you are in North Carolina and would like it shipped to you, add 7% sales tax to the price on the product.

Important Notes:
- The definition of a "Business" to a freight carrier is: Listed in the local phone book, posted business hours, staffed during regular business hours, and off load capabilities (in a timely manner).
- A Farm is not considered a business to freight carriers. There is a residential charge for them to go to a farm, church, school, construction site or other limited delivery area.
- A home business is not considered a business unless it meets the requirements below.
- Customers will be responsible for any additional fees due to incorrect shipping information.
Liftgate Service:
Liftgate service is available for both Residential Deliveries and Commercial/Business Deliveries. This service is used when there is no forklift or other equipment to offload your products from the truck to the ground.
- Liftgate service costs an additional fee.
Residential Delivery:
Residential Deliveries are available to your home with or without Liftgate Service.
- Residential Deliveries cost an additional fee.
With Residential Deliveries the carrier transports freight directly to customers homes. If you request a residential delivery without a liftgate, you will need to be present to meet the truck upon arrival and unload your product(s) using a forklift, tractor with forks, or similar equipment. If you don’t have the equipment to unload heavy products, request for liftgate.
Business/Commercial Delivery:
The definition of “Business/Commercial Delivery” to a freight company is:
- A company with regular posted business hours
- Is staffed during regular posted business hours
- Is listed in the local phonebook
- Has offload capabilities such as a loading dock or forklift.
If your “Business/Commercial Address” does not have a loading dock or forklift, you must request liftgate.
List of locations not considered “Business/Commercial Locations”:
- Farms, Ranches, Parks
- Colleges, Universities, Schools
- Construction sites
- Home-based businesses, businesses in residential areas
- Restaurants
- Military sites
- Golf Courses, Country Clubs
Freight Terminal Delivery:
Shipping your order(s) to a Freight Terminal when you can pick it up can save you money. Please contact us and we will provide you with the location of the Freight Terminal that services your area so you can decide if this option is best for you.
Return Policy
Mountaineer Attachments retains the exclusive and sole right whether an item may be returned, exchanged or order canceled. In order to obtain a refund or exchange, prior approval must be given by Mountaineer Attachments. Mountaineer Attachments will accept returns on item(s) within seven (7) days of delivery, of new, unused item(s) in original packaging. Refunds accepted by Mountaineer Attachments will be for the cost of the item(s) only, less any restocking fees--see below.
Shipping fees, freight charges, credit card processing fees, delivery and/or handling charges are not refundable. Customers ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY RETURN SHIPPING FEES. In the event Mountaineer Attachments arranges for return shipping on the customer's behalf, return shipping fees will be deducted from any refund provided to customer. Mountaineer Attachments will not accept returns of any item(s) after seven (7) days from delivery. All returned item(s) will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Important Notes:
- Used/Damaged machine(s)/items will not be accepted
- Cancellation of order(s) are accepted prior to order being shipped
- Shipping fees, freight charges, credit card processing fees, delivery and/or handling charges are not refundable
- Returns not accepted after 7 days of delivery
- Customers responsible for RETURN SHIPPING - NO EXCEPTIONS!

***Mountaineer Attachments reserves the right to replace and or repair machines at our sole discretion
***All Equipment sold by Mountaineer Attachments are covered by the manufacturer warranty
